Man breasts are mainly caused by two things: hormonal imbalance in the tissues and excess fat. Though hormonal imbalance may be strongly tied up with your genetic makeup, we may have a solution if it’s caused by excess fat.
If it that doesn’t work, then there is always surgery. Although it may sound scary, the procedure is quite safe and it is no more serious or out of the ordinary as a woman’s breast surgery. And yes, women get breast reduction surgery too.
You’d need to get in touch with a good plastic surgeon and request a breast consultation, and stop NOT being a man by thinking the term is unmanly. It’s not. Unsightly man boobs however are unmanly. So suck it up and make a consultation if nothing else has worked.
I’d like to touch on a couple things in relation to hormone levels in the male body. Your hormones are the master switches for youth. Hormones are why we age. They’re associated with erections in men, hair loss in men, the ability to lose fat and build muscle, sleep cycles (this is why a growing teenager can sleep for 14 hours with out getting up once in the night), the ability to heal and prevent diseases. In essence hormones are everything in terms of health, wellness and getting the ripped body we all want.
Your hormones are mostly controlled by your thyroid gland. Now we must ask ourselves a few questions in terms of this gland. What is the main mineral associated with this gland? What does the thyroid run on? The essential mineral it runs off of is iodine, which along with magnesium are two of the most essential minerals to sustain life and they are the most lacking in the population today.
Get on an iodine supplement, like lugols, ioderal or nacent and stop eating foods with bromide in them (a chemical that steals iodine from your thyroid gland – namely any white flour product).
In the mean time get on a workout program that is physical and will really help develop strength and muscle tone in the pectoral region of the chest.
Below are some tips for you to consider if you really want to get rid of those man boobs.
The first thing you should do is engage in cardiovascular training. Doing cardio, (biking, treadmill, or even running) can burn the excess fat that has been stored in your body. Not only does it take fat from the gut but generally it takes fat from every where in your body though not in the same ratio. Some people lose fat in the gut first, some in the arms. Your genes have a lot more to say in this regard.
In general people store fat on their bodies in the least harmful places for survival. If we stored fat on top of our chest first, we’d have a collapse lung or heart attack. In its infinite wisdom, the body stores this fat on the butt, legs, hips, thighs, stomach or arms as a first resort.
Once those areas are all used up the body then stores this fat on the chest. So for men this turns into some flabby looking bitch tits.
Eat foods that will help burn fat. Switch to low fat dairy and whole grains like brown rice. Eat plenty of leafy vegetables like lettuce and spinach; eat also carrots and tomatoes. If you eat fat, eat healthy fats from fish and nuts. Steer clear from sweets and simple sugars. These foods are quick be converted into energy.
Carbohydrates from grains or wheat in any form should be avoided, not only to avoid getting man boobs but they’re a quick recipe for clogged arteries which always results in heart disease or heart attacks.
Strength training is a great way to tone muscles around your chest so that it will help burn breast fat. Train your muscles at least twice a week by doing inclined pushups, doing four sets of eight reps. If you would like it more to lift weights, then do incline and decline bench presses with dumbbells or barbells. With weights, do the same number of sets and repetitions. If you find it hard to finish the last set, then you’re using enough weight. If not, then add more weight.
You really want to stretch and tear into that muscle fiber in your chest as you’re doing these exercises. You should feel lots of pain and a burn that makes you want to give up and quit.
